DETAILS: User research revealed two key pain points: complicated price comparisons and unclear add-on selections at checkout. The following high-priority elements were addressed to improve the hotel booking experience:
- Large full-screen photos of accommodation
- Ability to edit search details up until the last possible moment of the user flow
- Clear price per night AND price per stay
- Ability to edit add-ons with clear understanding of what final price will be
- Non-intrusive pop-ups and modals (especially on landing page)
- Minimal design with limited distractions from main user flow
