AIM: Deliver a hotel booking desktop website, which eliminates common pain points experienced by current users on popular booking comparison sites

DETAILS: User research revealed two key pain points: complicated price comparisons and unclear add-on selections at checkout. The following high-priority elements were addressed to improve the hotel booking experience:

  • Large full-screen photos of accommodation
  • Ability to edit search details up until the last possible moment of the user flow
  • Clear price per night AND price per stay
  • Ability to edit add-ons with clear understanding of what final price will be
  • Non-intrusive pop-ups and modals (especially on landing page)
  • Minimal design with limited distractions from main user flow
